Canadian IFX Striker Tristan Watson debuted on Saturday in the German Bayernliga, after netting several goals during the winter break in various friendlies since his arrival in Germany.
If Bayernliga side ASV Neumarkt looks to turn their fortunes around during the 2nd round of the 2013-2014 season, a lot will depend on Canadian Tristan Watson knack for scoring goals.
After a successful showing back in November, Cyrille Ossey finalized a move from TSV Winkelhaid to SV Darmstadt 98. Ossey will compete with the reserve team with the hope of getting promoted into the first team who presently compete in the 3.Liga. After several appearances with FSV Erlangen-Bruck’s reserves, IFX’s Jonathan Faerber got his first call up to Bruck’s first team and debuted last weekend against Bayernliga foe SC Eltersdorf. Eltersdorf controlled the match for most of the first half, converting a deflection to go ahead 1-0 in the 32nd minute.
Introducing midfielder Daniel Valovis (Bogota, Colombia) who has signed on to compete with SK Lauf A-Jugend Bayernliga side. The youth Bayernliga is regarded as the Bavarian state’s top league with the winner earning promotion into the youth Bundesliga. Having recently been promoted from the youth Landesliga, SK Lauf had been looking for reinforcements and was pleased with the addition of the young crafty midfielder hailing from Colombia.
After narrowly missing promotion in the youth Bundesliga last campaign, SG Quelle Fürth looks ready to make another strong push up towards the top of the table. Unfortunately they opened up their campaign with a 4-1 derby home defeat to local rivals FSV Erlangen-Bruck.

Cyrille Ossey, a 21 year old defender from Senegal, recently signed for Bezirksliga club TSV Winkelhaid. Winkelhaid will use Ossey to anchor their defense in the middle, utilizing his size and strong distribution. Ossey has been playing in Europe on and off for several years including stints with SG Quelle Fürth U23s and a recent trial with a 1st division club in Finland.

IFX’s Aidan Tucker (Brooklyn, New York) and his Bayernliga U19 club team – SG Quelle Fürth- defeated Al Wasl of the United Arab Emirates Pro League 3-2 in a midweek preseason friendly at the FC Nürnberg training grounds. Both clubs are preparing for the beginning of their respective campaigns.
IFX’s David Andreychuk signed during the summer transfer window with SV Buckenhofen of the German Landesliga. Andreychuk finished the season with BSC Erlangen before agreeing to terms with Buckenhofen.
